Autumn Leaf Dance

Autumn Leaf Dance was a band from Upstate New York from 1993-1994. After writing a dozen songs and recording eight of those, a CD entitled "Learn What Is Taught" was released on a small independent label. Shortly after that, the members of the band all graduated from college and generally went on their own way.

And that was that. There wasn't a tour, or live shows. Just four friends writing songs and recording them. It was that simple.

The bassist has gone on to found one of Boston's better local bands, The Douglas Fir. Releaseing a bunch of material on their own label. tDF is moody, dark, interesting, melodic and just plain good. You can find their material in iTMS.

The drummer didn't do much of anything. Mostly recording varied solo pieces in his home based pro tools studio and "releasing" music for his small circle of friends (having been fed-up with all things music-industry related). Released under the name Sky Flying By.

The vocalist is currently working in Upstate NY in a non-music related field.

The guitarist went to India and has dropped off the map. We miss him where ever he is.
